Believe in Yourself

,I am approached by many people who don’t believe in themselves.

Many of us feel that we don’t have what it takes to succeed.

This point of view leads back to your past where you may have been told by others that you’re not good enough. Now, this point of view is just someone putting their own insecurities onto you. So, let me ask you, ‘yet how true is their point of view’.


I remember when I first started my training and would speak to colleagues about my career path. I would expect them to be happy for me. However, in reality, it would more likely be told that I do not have what it takes and that I was going to fail.

Yet, I persevered and I now have a thriving practice.

Don’t Stop

Instead of stopping and sinking into the identity that many people would put onto me (of not being good enough); I kept working, got better at the things I needed to improve on, whilst keeping in mind why I chose to be a counsellor – which is the sole interest in helping people.

So, remember to keep on working, keep trying, to never give up, and then you can live the life that you have always dreamt of.
