Welcome to the Therapy in London Blog.
We all have parts of ourselves that we want to change. Maybe you want to be more confident or find the courage, determination and resilience to try new things.
I bet at this point you are thinking that’s not you, you’re shy, scared and timid and just can’t imagine changing. If you are reading this blog or watching one of my videos, a part of you wants to change. Listen to that voice.
I have worked with many clients throughout my years as a therapist.
Many, never thought they could change but I see them leave therapy feeling happier, more confident and better prepared to live in the world.
So how is this possible? Well, the way you start to change is to shine a light on the emotions that underlie your point of view.
This knowledge allows you to paint a picture of why you act the way you do. We can then challenge your way of life before creating new ways to relate to the world, which allows you to be your true self. This is you that doesn’t care what others think and is not scared to try new things.

So a little bit about me. My name is Philip and I am a psychologist and counsellor therapist working in London.
The reason I made this blog and my Youtube channel are that so many people come to me, client friends or people I meet and ask me about issues and circumstances that they are dealing with in their lives.
So I thought that the best way to help them and others in a similar position is to create this channel and answer some of the questions that I get asked on a daily basis.
I hope you find my blogs and the videos on my channel useful. Hopefully, it will help you to uncover and deal with your issues so you can live a happier more content life.
