“I work alongside you to overcome difficulties, promote exploration, and establish a relationship of trust.”
What do I provide for you?
I feel that nothing is too big or small for you to bring to therapy. I aim to create a safe space for you so that we can explore and understand any difficulties that you have. Importantly, though, I want to create a space that is free of judgement.
Further, my approach to therapy is personalised. Above all, I want you to be able to speak openly about anything. I will work with you so that we can explore whatever it is that has brought you to therapy.
What is my experience?
My experience includes working with people through depression, self-esteem, sexual abuse and domestic violence. As well as this, I have experience with bereavement, eating disorders, gender and sexuality and work related issues.
I am a qualified and registered BACP psychotherapist. I have completed my training at the oldest provider of counselling services in the UK. Additionally, I tutor trainee counsellors at a renowned training school in London. I also assist in facilitating wellbeing courses in a corporate environment.
Additionally, I follow the the ethical principles of the BACP. I have a commitment to allowing clients to participate freely in sessions. I want them to feel safe that their sensitive personal information will be kept confidential. As well as this, I work to keep my skills and knowledge up to date. Therefore, you can be sure you are always getting the best possible care.
Moreover, before my career as a councillor, I was a senior manager for more than 20 years.
Other information
I am of a mixed cultural and ethnic background. This means I have a deeper understanding and appreciation of difference and diversity. I welcome clients of all backgrounds, no matter their ethnicity, culture, religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
Therefore, I hope that I can work alongside you to help you overcome difficulties. I want to promote exploration and establish a relationship of trust with you.
