“Through therapy, we can all learn to better understand ourselves which can help enable more informed choices about how we want to live our lives.”
As an integrative therapist, I will be drawing on a range of therapeutic modalities to help tailor a way of working that will suit you as an individual, rather than applying a one size fits all approach. For each person, the focus of therapy will be different and so will the therapy
Richard Adam’s Principles
I believe that we all have the ability to heal ourselves under the right conditions. I aim to provide those conditions that allow the client to slow down, reflect and explore whatever may be impacting their life. This will also include looking at early relationships during childhood and how these may have affected their sense of self and may still be influencing current behaviours and relationships with others. We will discuss any patterns of thinking that emerge between us, as well as any avoidance of particular emotions or relational issues to those around.
Areas of interest include: Anxiety, issues related to confidence, self-worth, low mood, frustration, anger, family conflict, general stress, life transitions, narcissistic abuse, rejection, abandonment, relationship problems, shame, struggles with creativity and the impact of boarding school.
