I specialise in helping people find themselves, and so, create permanent change in their lives.

I am going to help you by..

Therapy with Alex

We'll work together to create the conditions necessary for real self-understanding, so that whatever you're carrying can be understood and addressed.

Here's how that will help you:

  1. You'll gain clarity. You'll get to know yourself better. This insight will positively affect how you deal with life situations and decisions.
  2. You'll find ways to face life challenges rather than avoiding them.
  3. Your relationships will improve as a result of improvements in communication and management of boundaries.

My favourite quote is...

"The greatest and most important problems of life are all fundamentally insoluble. They can never be solved, only outgrown." - C.G. Jung

I became a Therapist because..

During a difficult time in my life, I was lucky enough to stumble upon my true self, outgrow my problems, and so, I felt the need to help others do the same. 😁

In our sessions we will...

1. In our first session, we'll get to know each other, develop trust, and explore what brought you to therapy.

2. Over the following sessions, we'll start to make sense of what's really going on underneath the surface.

3. In time, things that once felt confusing or stuck will begin to be understood.

4. You'll find ways to become the best version of who you can be!

This is genuinely my office! (I took the photo 😁).

I'm currently reading..

Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky 😮

I like it because it's so philosophically rich!

I'm currently watching..

My most impactful experience was..

The story of the apples

My former landlord (who was also my next-door neighbour) was an old African man. We shared the same garden, which he maintained to a beautiful standard. The garden was so full of apple- and pear-trees. So many apples we had!

One time he told that he himself had planted those trees when they first bought the house over 50 years ago.

'When I was a kid I never ate lunch,' he said to me, 'because I always had a fruit in my hand. We would play outside and we would eat one apple here, one mango there, one orange over there... And I wanted my children to have the same: that's why I planted these trees!'

I smiled, he didn't.

'But now, I have so many apples and I don't know what to do with them,' he said, 'my children don't want any apples. They buy theirs at the supermarket.'
