I offer in-depth, relational therapy to people who want to work on relationship issues, anxiety or early relational trauma or other unresolved issues from the past that are impacting them in the present.

I'm currently reading..

The Winter Book by Tove Jansson - she seems to have such a lovely way to capture some of the internal conflicts we all deal with as humans

I am going to help you by..

Offering a secure and honest therapeutic relationship where we can together understand more about what's going on for you, including those feelings that are less conscious. This in-depth approach can help give you a new perspective on things and help you move forward with life with lasting insight and less anxiety.

In our sessions we will...

Talk about your current life, relationships, hopes for the future, things from the past you feel have an impact on you today and together we'll make sense of it all. This is a space for you to bring what feels most important - there is no set structure and I won't make you fill in worksheets or teach you techniques. That said, I will gently guide our conversations in ways that feel helpful; I'll ask questions, notice things about the way you tell your story and aim to help you see things in a new way.

My favourite quote is...

"Patients need an experience, not an explanation"

It captures the essence of what I believe really works in therapy - and what makes longer term, relational therapy so valuable in a world where knowledge and information is available at a click of a button.

For me, therapy is really about the therapeutic relationship and that's what I can offer - a consistent, respectful, curious and ultimately very human relationship.
