help you break the cycle of people-pleasing and the ‘fixer’ role, allowing you to set firm boundaries, build internal self-worth, and reclaim control over your life

I am going to help you by..

1. Starting with Clarity

We always begin with a free 20-minute consultation. This is a pressure-free, professional space for you to share your goals and for us to determine if we are the right fit. It is the first step in moving from uncertainty toward a clear plan for your wellbeing.

2. Building a Collaborative Partnership

I walk alongside you to build a strong, confidential relationship based on trust and mutual respect. We will explore the origins of your current patterns, such as the need to ‘fix’ or the pressure to please, and understand how your history has shaped the way you show up today.

3. Developing Insight and Integrity

Together, we look beyond the surface to understand the "why" behind your actions. By bringing less visible emotions and experiences into focus, you gain the clarity needed to step out of old roles and reclaim your internal sense of authority.

4. Creating Lasting, Authentic Change

The ultimate goal is to empower you with the tools and confidence to set firm boundaries and make choices that genuinely align with your true self. We move at your pace, ensuring that the change you experience is sustainable and rooted in personal integrity.

In our sessions we will...

Identify and Deconstruct Patterns: We will uncover the specific obstacles and ingrained roles—such as the need to ‘fix’ or please—that are currently holding you back, providing clear insights into your feelings and behaviours.

Define Your Core Values: We work to identify what truly matters to you, helping you move away from external ‘shoulds’ and align your focus with your own personal needs and integrity.

Tailored Therapeutic Focus: I offer both long-term psychotherapy for deep, foundational exploration and short-term counselling, which is more focused and goal-oriented for specific life challenges.

Develop Authentic Responses: Together, we will discover new, honest ways to respond to life’s complexities, empowering you to make choices that feel true to your authentic self.

My favourite quote is...

Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are.Brené Brown

I'm currently reading..

Everyone's a Critic: How we can learn to be kind to ourselves

by Julia Bueno

This book explores the impact of the internal critic and how we can move toward a more supportive relationship with ourselves. It aligns with my work in helping clients dismantle the harsh self-judgement that often drives people-pleasing and "fixing" behaviours.

By developing self-compassion, we aren't just being "kind" to ourselves, we are building the internal resilience needed to set firm boundaries and lead a more authentic life.

I'm currently watching..

Will Trent on Hulu or Disney +

Will Trent grew up in the foster care system and lives with dyslexia, yet he is one of the most effective agents in the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. His character is a compelling example of how we can navigate significant personal challenges while showing up with immense skill and integrity. It is a reminder that being "in progress" does not diminish our capability, and that our unique history often shapes our greatest strengths.

I became a Therapist because..

A Natural Evolution: Supporting emotional wellbeing has been the focus of my career for over ten years. Transitioning into psychotherapy was a deliberate step to move beyond general support and into the deep, one-on-one work required for lasting personal change.

The Value of Trust: I recognise the significant trust required to share your inner world with another person. It is a privilege to provide a boundaried, professional space where you can navigate your history and do the meaningful work of self-discovery.

The Power of Integrity: There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a client dismantle the 'fixer' patterns or people-pleasing roles that have held them back. I am driven by the process of helping people move from quiet compliance toward a life of genuine choice and confidence.

My favourite colour is...

I genuinely like all of them. I’ve never been one to choose just one, I appreciate the whole spectrum. :)
